Our unique English Pathway is specially designed to take you to University for your dream degree! This Pathway includes one mandatory A Level in either English Language and English Literature, plus up to two additional subjects of your choice. This practical hands-on course is perfect for you if you want to pursue a career working within the countryside and wildlife sector. It is an ideal qualification if you are intending to progress directly to employment within the countryside sector or on to a countryside apprenticeship.

This course will help you develop a comprehensive overview of the countryside, wildlife and conservation industry. It encompasses practical techniques, technical skills and core knowledge.

Level 1 Carpentry and Joinery focuses on developing practical hand skills and enhancing basic underpinning knowledge of relevant industrial processes and techniques.

This 10 week course includes aspects of plant establishment, propagation and maintenance. Students will be taught the fundamentals of getting plants started from seeds and cuttings, in both woody and non-woody plants as well as preparing the soil to create ideal conditions for plant growth.

The purpose is to introduce basic Carpentry and Joinery skills and knowledge to those who have either no, or very little, prior experience. This is an introductory Carpentry and Joinery course is run over 12 weeks, 3 hours each session (Tuesdays) and is aimed at adults, aged 19+, who have an interest in improving their home or might be interested in progressing onto our full time course.
